Digory's Dairy 

dear dairy,

   today was a brilliant day. First, the witch went mad again and start throwing things at people, but then i grabbed her ankle and put on the ring.we got to the woods again but then i saw that Uncle Andrew, Polly, the Cabby, Strawberry(the horse), and Jadis was also there.we got into another pool and put on the rings.when we got there it was dark and then we heard a voice. a beautiful voice. then came stars. it finally became day so you could see each other.there was a lion and growing trees. Polly and i wanted to see what the land was but Uncle Andrew and Jadis didn't. I didn't want Uncle Andrew or Jadis to touch the rings so the had to stand back. Jadis got weird it out by the lion so she threw a lamp post at it but it just bounced of. i think the lion didn't know it happened. when Jadis saw that it was dead she ran off into the woods.
